Academic Phrase Bank
The Academic Phrasebank is a general resource for academic writers. It aims to provide you with examples of some of the phraseological "nuts and bolts" of writing organised under the headings to the left. It was designed primarily with international students whose first language is not English in mind. However, if you are a native speaker writer, you may still find parts of the material helpful.
Academic Word list
The Academic Word List was developed by Averil Coxhead as her MA thesis at the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. The list contains 570 word families.

Full of quizzes on a wide variety of language acquisition issues. The quizzes are arranged according to issues addressed (vocabulary, word order, verb use, idioms and more) and level of difficulty. Very user friendly site, you can easily and efficiently find specific exercises to work on your trouble spots.

Pretty straightforward site: not many frills, but with loads and loads of exercises: grammar, collocations, phrasal verbs, you name it. Don't be put off by the title 'Business English'!
